FAQ
What types of photography do you offer?
I shoot a little bit of everything—sports, car meets, portraits, creative lifestyle sessions, kids, couples, events, and more. If it means something to you, I’m down to capture it.
How do I book a shoot with you?
Just shoot me a text at my business number. Once we chat about the details—like what kind of shoot you're looking for, the vibe or mood you want, and if you already have a location in mind—we’ll lock in a date that works for both of us. Easy and chill.
Text me anytime: (815) 556-9129
Serious inquiries only, please :)
How much do you charge?
It depends on the type of shoot, how many edited photos you want, and any travel or extras involved. I don’t have set prices right now because I like to talk with each client first. Once I understand the vibe you're going for, what the occasion is, and the amount of creative work or location scouting needed, I come up with a price that’s fair for both of us.
What is your turnaround time?
My turnaround time is 4 business days—but I always try to deliver earlier when I can. I like to over-deliver and make sure you get your photos faster than expected whenever possible.
How do I receive my photos?
You’ll get a private link to your gallery right here on my website, along with a download and access code. That way, only you (and whoever you share it with) can view and download your photos. I keep everything secure but easy to access.
Can I post your photos on social media?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to use your photos however you’d like—just make sure to credit me as the photographer. I also keep ownership rights, so I may post them to my own portfolio or social media too.
Do you require a deposit?
Only in certain cases—like if I have to call off work, if the shoot is a big project (like prom or senior pics), if it's a long drive, or if there's an entry fee or gas costs (like at some sports events). I’ll always be upfront about it if a deposit is needed.
If no deposit is required, payment is due when I arrive at the shoot. I accept cash, Zelle, or maybe a check—but checks have a $5 fee.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can! I’m still in school and work a part-time job, so my schedule fills up quickly—especially during busy seasons like prom, sports, or holidays. The sooner we lock in your shoot, the better.
If it’s super last-minute and ends up being inconvenient (like I have to call off work or move things around), there might be a small rush fee—but I’ll always be upfront about that.
Can I bring a friend or family member to the shoot?
Of course! You’re welcome to bring a friend or family member along to help you feel more comfortable. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
What happens if the Weather is bad?
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather’s not cooperating (rain, snow, etc.), we can reschedule, or I can offer an indoor location if available. But honestly, if you’re up for it, I’m always down to get creative! Sometimes bad weather can lead to some really cool and unique shots. If you’re game for something a little out of the ordinary, let’s roll with it and make the most of it!
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens, I get it! If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as you can and we’ll pick a new date that works. Just a heads up—if you paid a deposit, it’s non-refundable. But the shoot isn’t canceled completely, just moved. I want to make sure we still make it happen!
How do you choose shoot locations?
I’m always scouting. I drive around in my free time, scroll online for cool spots, and sometimes even come up with ideas on the fly. I’ve been doing this so much that even random places start to look like potential shoot locations—I always find a way to make it work.
Do you give RAW or unedited photos?
Do you give RAW or unedited photos?
Nope—I don’t give out RAW or unedited photos. That’s not my final product, and I want people to see my work how I intended it—finished, edited, and meaningful. I put time and effort into editing, and that’s a big part of what makes the photo special.
Also, RAW files are huge—like, really big. They take up a ton of space, and most devices can’t even open them without special (usually paid) software. So unless you’re a professional editor, you probably wouldn’t be able to use them anyway.
And yeah, it is America, so of course, there’s a price for everything lol. I also keep RAW files to protect my work. If I ever need to prove ownership in court or to someone trying to steal a photo, I’ve got the original file ready to go.
How many final photos do I get?
It really depends on the type of shoot and what you're looking for. Every session is different—some clients want just a few key shots, others want a full gallery. Once I know more about what you're going for, I can give you a better idea of how many photos to expect.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in the Plainfield/Naperville area in Illinois, but yep—I’m down to travel! Just let me know where you need me, and we’ll figure it out. Travel costs might apply depending on how far it is, but I’m always open to new places and cool shoot ideas.

Your story matters. Who you are right now, in this season of life, deserves to be remembered. Whether it’s a picture of your kid before their first game, a candid moment with friends, or just you feeling confident and real in front of the camera—it all tells a story that’s worth holding onto.
Photos freeze time in a way nothing else can. They let you look back and feel who you were, what you loved, what you looked like, and who was standing beside you. And the best part? It only becomes more valuable over time.
So don’t wait for the “perfect time.”
Now is part of your story too.
